I am learning quickly that the transition from caring for one to two children means that a lot of other activities I used to do are going to have to fall by the wayside (at least for a while). Maintaining a blog is one of them. - For the past two years, our family has been on a US tour. After living in NC for 8 years, in the summer of 2008 we moved to Corvallis, OR, where Nate had a brief post-doc position. In the summer of 2009 we moved again, to Green Bay, WI, where Nate began as a new professor of aquatic ecology at UW-Green Bay. We welcomed Baby Owen on Sept 10, 2009. Now we've moved again, back to our original starting point in eastern NC. And we feel like we're here for good.
